SOL INVICTUS is unique program created for a certain sort of man:
A courageous spiritual seeker who was born to be a leader amongst men but is struggling to unlock his immense potential and put it toward its destined path; a sleeping giant looking for a way to awaken.
This program has been created to awaken the visionary, leader, and spiritual warrior within you. You feel your higher purpose inside, but don’t quite how to tap into it. Although you strongly suspect that the secret of awakening it has something to do with entheogens (psychedelics).
You are the kind of man who knows deep down you are meant for important work in the world, but you have hit a wall, and are searching (perhaps even in quiet desperation) for a way to break through. You are a man who feels your higher purpose within you, but this feeling is becoming a torment because the days, weeks, years are passing by, and you are still not accomplishing what you know you are meant to accomplish. Your sense of higher purpose is becoming a source of torment for you, but you are not going to give up; you are still determined to find a way to uncover it and accomplish it, and you have a strong conviction that entheogens/psycheledics are going to play a crucial role.
You are a man who wants to make a difference in the world, but don’t know how, because you still haven’t found your higher purpose. ...and yet you still feel unsatisfied, perhaps even unhappy, and you are utterly convinced that something utterly crucial is missing.
You are now searching for something more, and have an unshakeable feeling that this “something more” is to be found by exploring the mysteries of entheogens (aka. psychedelics: mushrooms, ayahuasca, san pedro, peyote, etc.), shamanism, healing, and esotericism, and how these relate to the ultimate mystery of your own Higher Self and higher purpose.

- A 12-day entheogenic initiation / healing retreat in the Sacred Valley of Peru (in person).
- Followed by a 1 month integration period (carried out at home via Zoom).

The program revolves around the 3 entheogenic initiation / healing retreats in the Sacred Valley of Peru, which include a thorough preparation period beforehand, and an extensive integration period afterward. The preparation and integration periods are carried out via Zoom.
In the entheogenic retreat, you will have 3 ayahuasca ceremonies, and 1 wachuma San Pedro hike. In the days in between, we will have sharing circles in the morning, and private healing sessions (customized for your unique needs) throughout the afternoon and evening.
The program has been designed by a Western shaman, teacher, guide (see About Andrew Camargo) specifically to suit the psychological and spiritual needs of Western men in the 21st century.
It is founded on a synthesis of:
Western (Jungian) psychology, the Western esoteric tradition (Alchemy), the mystical / gnostic / hermetic Christian tradition (Rosicrucianism), a particular Amazonian ayahuasca lineage called Santo Daime, all set within the context of Andean spirituality. The entheogenic retreats consist of ceremonies, guided by Andrew Camargo and his team, using the amazonian entheogen Ayahuasca – prepared according to the tradition of Santo Daime (which invokes mystical Christic impulses), and the Andean medicine Wachuma (San Pedro cactus, containing mescaline). Other medicines include Wilka (DMT snuff), Kambô (frog medicine), Rapéy (tobacco snuff), Sananga, and Coca. See The Entheogenic Medicines.
The ceremonies include both indoor ceremonies at night, as well as outdoor ceremonial hikes to sacred mountains and lakes in the day.
The day after each ceremony, there will be a day of sharing and integration, followed by private therapy sessions carried out by my team of shamanic healers.
The preparation (2 ½ months) and integration (1 month) periods involve inner work and guidance inspired by Jungian psychology and the curriculum of The School of Modern Soul Science, the online school created by Andrew Camargo.
The School of Modern Soul Science is, itself, a school that synthesizes modern Western psychology, ancient Western esoteric science (alchemy), and archetypal approaches to shamanism, healing, and inner work.

Understanding that most of our students run businesses, and cannot afford to be away from their work responsibilities for 12 days straight, the entheogenic retreats have been specifically designed so that you can work minimal part-time, allowing you to check in with your work, put out any fires that need putting out, and be in regular communication with your managers and those responsible for running the ship while you are away.
You will need to make arrangements to be relatively “on vacation”, and be able to dedicate serious focus to your initiatory process. However, you will not need to take a complete vacation (unless you really want to and have that luxury).
Within the Sol Invictus program, you will undergo an initiation into your spiritual manhood and higher potential...
...where you discover your true higher spiritual self and your true higher purpose and higher meaning (mission) of your life. You will awaken the archetype of the “illuminated spiritual warrior” within yourself; the archetype of the sacred masculine, the King, the enlightened Patriarch. You’ve heard the New Age talk about the “awakening of the Divine Feminine”. In this program, you will work to awaken the “Divine Masculine” in yourself, and put it into courageous action in the world.
A wounded warrior cannot win the battle, so in this program you will also dive deeply into your own healing process, so that you will be able to accomplish the lofty purpose that you discover in yourself, and will be empowered to help all those around you – most especially your family – as a champion of the good and the true.
An ignorant warrior cannot win the battle, so in this program you will receive an esoteric education about the true foundations of Western civilization. This will help you to understand why the world is the way it is today, and moreover, will give you a clear vision of your proper place in it, what you can do to improve it and make a positive contribution.
An aimless warrior who does not know what he is fighting for – nor even why he should bother to fight – certainly cannot win the battle, so in this program you will learn what it is that you consider worth fighting for. You will discover your higher purpose, and how this higher purpose relates to a transcendental sense of meaning in your life. You will uncover your personal cause, your personal mission, your personal reason-for-being – the thing that is worth sacrificing for in order to accomplish, that at the end of the day makes your life triumphant and inspiring to others.
Nor can a naïve warrior win the battle, so in this program you will also receive precious keys of discernment that you will need in order to NOT fall into the many traps and temptations that will confront you when you set your inner light ablaze and return to your society with the best intentions of accomplishing your higher purpose.

who has reached a very specific crossroads in his life.
A man who is:
…is suffering a quiet desperation deep inside his soul. A man who has arrived at the existential crossroads: “Is this all there is?”
You have most everything you thought you wanted (and most everything your society says you're supposed to want) and yet still feel empty, still feel deep down unhappy, still feel like you are somehow not making the most of your life; that there is something important that you’re supposed to be doing, but you don’t know exactly what, and you’re getting increasingly desperate to discover it.
And you feel guilty about these feelings, because you know how fortunate you are, and you feel as though you ought to be more happy. If you are married with a family, you may feel guilty that your family is not fully satisfying you. And yet you can’t pretend you’re fully satisfied when you truly aren’t.
And if you have children, you want to be the sort of man that your children can look up to with utmost respect and admiration; the kind of man who could be a true hero to his children. You want to be the sort of man that leaves a heroic legacy behind. You want to be the sort of father that you wished your own father could have been. And yet you see yourself falling short of that ideal, and feel somehow trapped in a stagnant state.
And if you aren’t married with children, you feel unprepared, and wouldn’t want to have children until you figure out a lot of stuff first. You know you are still carrying unhealed wounds from your family, from your youth, and you want to sort that out before you have a family, because God forbid you pass on your unresolved crap to your children and make your wife suffer the way your mother suffered your father.
You have succeeded in the material world. For you, money is no mystery. You’ve figured out the game, and you play it well. You have the luxury of material comfort. You have the freedom that a certain degree of wealth affords. And yet…
…and yet deep down you are not happy. Deep down you do not truly respect yourself, and you do not truly love yourself. You are looking for something more; something that has a lasting value, a transcendent value. Your confidence is a mask for the insecurity that torments you in the most subtle way, and your outgoing nature conceals a more profound sadness that you don’t show to anybody.
Over the years, a feeling of quiet desperation has been growing stronger, but you’ve continued to mask your unhappiness and dissatisfaction with the persona of somebody who has it all figured out. But when you are honest with yourself – truly and courageously honest with yourself – you can admit that you are a little terrified. Far from having it all figured out, in truth you don’t even know who you truly are and what the ultimate purpose of your existence is. You see yourself getting older, and you feel like you are behind schedule for accomplishing some great thing you feel you are meant to accomplish. But you don’t know what that “great thing” is, and so you are starting to feel like the big dream is getting increasingly out of reach as time marches mercilessly onward.
You look around at the world, and part of you loves what you have accomplished and feels satisfied and proud of yourself, and yet another part of you disdains it, because you don’t ultimately derive profound satisfaction in your work, and you can’t find a satisfying answer to the question: “So what? What do my accomplishments matter in the grand scheme of things?”
When you were younger, you used to be genuinely inspired by your work. And when you achieved success you thought you had found the pearl of great price; you thought that you were managing to actually live the dream.
Now, however, your work doesn’t inspire you like it used to. And you struggle to see a higher purpose behind what you do, and you struggle to feel good about how you are spending your precious time. You are looking for other ways to be happy and satisfied with your life, but nothing seems to fully quench your thirst.
If you’re not married, maybe you seek out passionate romantic relationships that temporarily satisfy you. If you’re married, maybe you’re seeking out ways you and your spouse can grow together. But again, you can’t shake the feeling that something is missing.
You try to think of ways you can do something truly meaningful with your life and your success. Perhaps your thirst for adventure and passion has gotten you into some darker things. In your drive to feel and experience life deeply, perhaps you have developed some tastes that you hide from others, that you are not proud of. Perhaps you are not happy in your marriage, and are seeking satisfaction in other relationships. Perhaps you have some degenerate habits that you just can’t manage to break.
You pursue hobbies that bring you some temporary happiness, but something is still missing. You are searching, searching, searching, but you aren’t even sure what you’re searching for.
You seek out adventure, you seek out travel. Perhaps you love to travel because travel temporarily satisfies you. Perhaps you dream of starting a new business with a lofty and noble mission. Or perhaps you dream of starting a Foundation and contributing to worthy causes in the hopes of “making the world a better place”. You are looking, searching for a cause worth fighting for, but haven’t found it yet.
You are a man of Western civilization, and yet you are starting to really despise Western civilization. You have reaped the benefits of being a successful man in this society, and yet you can see clearly how empty it all is. Your financial success has only shown you the truth of the old cliché that money can’t buy happiness. You yearn to somehow escape the Matrix of your civilization, but aren’t sure how to do that (in the best possible way).
You can see the lies and deception, and you are coming to value truth above all else. You yearn for the truth, and you sense that the truth has been hidden from you. And because you sense the truth has been hidden from you, you are on a quest to discover it. You read, you self-educate, you seek out the wizards and shamans who are in possession of the secret knowledge you are seeking.
You see the corruption, you see the darkness, perhaps you even see the evil. You’ve been able to navigate and even thrive in that world up until now, but it’s not what you want any more. It’s not what you want for your children. You want to discover something that restores your faith in humanity, that restores your faith in the good and the true. You yearn for true wisdom and a transcendent meaning for your life. You yearn to recapture the innocence of your youth. You yearn for more purity and love in your life.
This program has been created for men who feel a very strong call to explore entheogens (aka psychedelics like mushrooms, LSD, ayahuasca, peyote, etc.) in a more serious way.
Perhaps you’ve already had a series of life-changing experiences with mushrooms or LSD or ayahuasca, and you already have a conviction that these mysterious substances can reveal to you the great mysteries of your higher self and your higher purpose… and now you are looking for a way to go much deeper with them.
Or perhaps you haven’t really experienced entheogens yet, but you have always respected them from afar, and have always sensed that they are meant to play an important role in your journey. You’ve always wanted to experience them, but you have been cautious, making sure that when you finally do it, you will do it in the right way and with the right person.
Or perhaps you’re a veteran tripper, and in your youth you got into psychedelics in a ravenous way, going totally overboard. Probably it was LSD, right? You had truly ecstatic and magical experiences, but at a certain point you started to have some pretty terrifying experiences, and so you stopped, and haven’t gone back to them since. Now you’re looking for a way to try again, only this time with more maturity and respect, and this time with shamanic guidance. And if it was LSD, then this time you are interested in exploring the more organic entheogens, like ayahuasca or mushrooms.
Or perhaps you’ve been a dedicated and responsible psychonaut in your youth, and you still are! You never stopped! You’ve been working with entheogens on your own for quite some time. And now you’re exploring the potential of microdosing. You’ve come a long way on your own, but you feel like you’ve reached the point where you now require elderhood and shamanic guidance to go to the next level.
Or perhaps you’ve done extensive psychotherapy in an effort to heal yourself, and while it has certainly been beneficial, the dream of being healed and free from your traumas and suffering still eludes you. You have been hearing lots about how a 1-night psychedelic ceremony can be like 10 years of psychotherapy, and that sounds almost too good to be true. You’ve already done 10 years of psychotherapy and have hit a wall. Now you are seriously considering psychedelic therapy, allowing yourself to hope for a monumental breakthrough that has thus far eluded you.
Or perhaps you have some real darkness inside of you, and even though you have been able to hide it from the world, you know it’s there and you are finally ready to do something about it. You’ve heard that ayahuasca can be used for deep cleansing, deep healing, deep illumination of darkness and illness. You’ve even heard it can be used for exorcism of demonic spirits. You’re scared to tackle what’s inside you, and yet you are also a courageous warrior, and you are ready to face what you need to face to truly sort yourself out.
Or perhaps you’ve already done the ayahuasca-retreat-thing, and it was an absolutely horrible experience. You were left traumatized, but you aren’t giving up on entheogenic retreats. Now you’re hoping to find a better alternative, because even though the experience was awful you nonetheless recognize that there is something very important that you still want to learn and receive from these medicines.
Or perhaps you’ve already done the ayahuasca-retreat-thing and it was absolutely fantastic, and you want to go deeper now. Perhaps you did the rich-person-ayahuasca scene in California, paying $1000 per ceremony, and it was a good experience. The music was absolutely incredible, and the shaman was impressive, but… but despite all that something just doesn’t sit quite right with you about the whole thing. Or at the very least, you feel something is still missing.
Or perhaps you tripped on mushrooms when you were younger, and to this day it remains one of the best experiences of your life. But then you got more conservative, stopped tripping, pulled up your bootstraps, and directed your attention to your career. Now you’re successful in your career, and yet you can’t stop thinking about those precious experiences you had tripping on psychedelics when you were younger. You yearn to recapture the magic and wonder of those experiences. You are looking for a way to return to that magical world, but without regressing. You are looking for a way to tap into the power of psychedelics to open up the next stage of journey.
Or perhaps you have only ever used psychedelics recreationally, but are starting to understand that these are truly sacred substances that can reveal to you the great mysteries of your existence, and are now looking for the right program to guide you through a sacred entheogenic rite-of-passage.
Regardless of what your unique relationship to entheogens/psychedelics may be, one thing is certain: You feel an unmistakable call to explore them further in the context of a sacred rite-of-passage. You have an unshakeable feeling that they are destined to be an integral part of your life’s path, and they are somehow the key for you to break through to a new stage of your life’s journey. You may not be able to explain this feeling in a rational way; you just know that you are feeling a powerful call to embark on an entheogenic initiation journey, and you are looking for the right program in which to do that.
You have a burning curiousity inside of you. You want to know the mysteries of your existence. You know the world is full of secrets, and magic, and mystery, and you are determined to discover it for yourself. You aren’t quite sure what you believe about God, but you are seeking answers and remain open. You are not satisfied with the conception of God given by the organized religions. You are looking for a more gnostic, mystical, direct experience of divinity. What you really want is to directly experience the divinity, and discover the divine spark within yourself.
Chances are very good that you were raised in some sort of Christian denomination. And in your childhood you went along with it. But in your adolescence it started to come up empty for you. You started to uncover the myriad of hypocricies in the Christian religion, and it didn’t really make sense. More and more it seemed like a hollow belief structure that imprisoned people’s minds, and so you left. And after you left you worked to psychologically liberate yourself from the programming and indoctrination that is inherent in organized religion.
But maybe you went too far to the other extreme, and dove into a period of agnosticism, materialism, perhaps even atheism and nihilism. But that left you feeling empty. Because you are a deep down a sensitive soul and a spiritual seeker, and so you eventually found your way to a path of spiritual seeking… almost certainly through psychedelics.
It was most likely a mushroom experience that rekindled your spiritual seeking. Or LSD. And now you’re finding you way back to a more gnostic, mystical spirituality via entheogenic experiences.
You are sick of all the lies and all the deceptions. You yearn for the truth, even if it scares the shit out of you. You want to live your life in the truth, and surround yourself with the truth. You cannot stand the lies and the deceptions any more. The propaganda, the puppet shows, the brainwashing, the NLP manipulation, the conspiring cabals – you can see it, and you are sick to death of it.
You know very well that the conspiracies aren’t theories: they are all too real. You seen enough with your own eyes to know about the corruption that is spreading throughout Western civilization. You are well past thinking that the world is run by benevolent elected officials. You understand that it’s all a big puppet show, and it’s all a big deception. You have some understanding of how the world really works, and even though it’s scary, you burn with a curiosity to know more. You know there is true evil out there, and you want to educate yourself more so that you can better navigate the world. You are interested in occult history, because you understand that the real origins of Western civilization cannot be learned in history textbooks. You know that Secret Societies are a real thing, and perhaps you’ve already been approached by a few.
But despite the temptations to power, something inside you has protected you from that. You are deep down an innocent soul, seeking the good and the true. Even though you probably don’t consider yourself a Christian anymore, you still have an intuitive understanding that you have a soul, and this soul can be captured by evil or it can be saved by having a connection to divinity. And this connection to divinity is more important to you than power.
You know that we are living in the midst of a big battle for the future of humanity. You see the terrors that are coming, but you aren’t sure exactly what to do with this knowledge. You know that our civilization is running on fumes, and that it’s just a matter of time before things collapse in a major way. You see the “New World” that is being ushered in, and you’re not a fan. You can’t deny that the world appears to be going to shit, but before this collapse happens, you are determined to make the most of your time and your resources. However, you feel like you need an inspired vision and more clear direction on how to do that.
One of the things you will learn in the Sol Invictus program is that entheogenic rite-of-passage rituals were deliberately removed from Western civilization by the Roman Church approximately 1700 years ago. Men in Western civilization today have been deprived of these essential rituals, and are suffering psychologically and spiritually as a result.
Psychologically and spirtually, men need rites of passage to truly be “men” in the higher sense of the word: To know who they truly are, to know their higher purpose, and to know their role in society.
If men do not undergo rites of passage at critical turning points in their life, their growth is somehow stunted. Without these rites of passage, the transition from boyhood to adolscence, from adolescence to adulthood, and from adulthood to elderhood gets sabotaged. Men can remain stuck in psychological and spiritual adolescence. They do not proceed to a higher stage of “spiritual manhood”.
And without rites of passage a man usually does not know what his higher purpose is, because his higher purpose is precisely what emerges out of his rite of passage. He is “passing” into a state of spiritual manhood where he knows who he is and what his vital contribution to his society is meant to be.
So you are a good fit for this program if you are yearning for a true rite of passage – specifically an entheogenic rite of passage. You feel that you have been deprived of this, and you are not particularly drawn to undergoing a rite of passage in an indigenous culture (because you are not from that culture, and do not belong in that culture!). You wish it were possible to undergo a “Western” rite of passage, and for this reason, you are a particularly good fit for the Sol Invictus program, because the Sol Invictus program is specifically a Western Rite-of-Passage for Western men.
And just as you are yearning to undergo a serious rite of passage into spiritual manhood, you are also yearning for a bona fide elder. A shaman; a sort of “wise old man” figure who can trust to initiate you into the entheogenic mysteries.
Regardless of your level of experience with entheogens, you already understand quite well: When it comes to entheogenic initiation, an elder is essential.
Entheogenic initiation is a very serious matter, and you cannot afford to mess around. If you’re going to do it, you had better do it right. And doing it right means having the right guide.
Having the right guide can make the difference between a ceremony that brings you life-changing healing and spiritual epiphanies… and a ceremony that drags you to the pits of hell and seriously messes you up.
And in the exploding medicine scene, charlatans and plastic shamans are all too common. You are a discerning man, and you can spot a charlatan. And unfortunately you are seeing a lot of charlatans out there. And you have no interest in entrusting your psyche to somebody who doesn’t know what they’re doing, or worse, is actually an exploitative sorcerer.
You are interested in entheogenic initiation, but you are quite certain that you only want to do it with a qualified guide; an authentic shaman.
In Western civilization we have plenty of examples of such elders in movies, but not in real life. For the most part, if we want to find a real elder shaman, we have to go to indigenous non-Western cultures and seek one out there. And when you do that, you still have to be extremely discerning, because many indigenous shamans are predatory sorcerers who can use their magic to manipulate you.
So you want to find an authentic shaman to guide your initiation, but so far you haven’t found anybody with whom you feel you can trust.

In the ancient entheogenic mystery schools (such as in Egypt and Greece), initiation was reserved for the elect, and those who received initiation went on to be the leaders of the civilization. All throughout history, the leaders of the civilizations have been the entheogenically initiated men, aka. “Initiates”.
And all throughout European history, from the Renaissance onward, all the greatest geniuses were initiates. This is the secret source of the genuis of the “Renaissance men”. All the greatest artists, writers, musicians, visionaries, innovators, philosophers – all were entheogenically initiated.

This program is definitely not for you if:
Entheogenic initiation requires a lot of courage. You have to face your fears, your darkness, your pain; ultimately you need to face yourself. If you do not have the courage to do that, this program is definitely not for you.
It also requires courage to become a realized spiritual warrior. Because once you receive the touch of initiation, you have to return to your society, and you now have an implicit responsibility to do something good and redemptive with everything you’ve learned and everything you’ve received. Trying to do good in this world takes courage, because there are a lot of forces of not-good that you will have to face.
Your will to “Know Thyself” must be stronger than your fear.
Your will to accomplish your higher purpose must be stronger than your fear.
Your will to heal yourself must be stronger than your fear.
Your will to undergo an ego death and spiritual rebirth must be stronger than your fear.
As long as you do not overcome your fear, your fear will block the pathway to your higher purpose. As long as you do not overcome your fear, your fear will block the pathway to your Higher Self.
You need courage! If you lack this courage, you do not belong in this program. If you are hoping to cultivate the necessary courage in this program, great! In this program, you can cultivate courage. However, you need a certain amount of courage in the first place. Only you know, in your intimacy, whether you have this initial pre-requisite of courage.
This is a serious program that requires you to work hard in order to succeed. At a practical level, you will have regular meetings, lectures, Men’s circles, and private sessions with me. And you will have some homework too. And when you are in the Peru retreat, you will need to work hard every ceremony, and in the days in between too. This program is not a vacation; it’s a bootcamp for spiritual warriors. If you’re lazy, this is definitely not for you.
This program is for those who recognize how important it is, who feel that this is so important they are willing to really prioritize it. It is not for casual participants who feel luke warm. On the contrary, it is for men who feel that this is perhaps the most important thing in their life right now, an are willing to give it their very best efforts.
So if you aren’t willing to prioritize this, then clearly you don’t understand what is at stake here, and you do not belong in this program.
Sometimes those who were born with money have weak wills, because they never needed to fight to earn what they have. Their father or grandfather was the alpha male who did all the work, achieved all the success, and generated all the wealth. So if you are a weak willed rich kid, this program is definitely not for you.
If you are unable to focus your attention, this program is not for you.
If you are unable to resist temptations, this program is definitely not for you. When you kindle the light of your spirit, you can expect to face temptations. If you do not have a strong will to resist these temptations your spiritual light can be corrupted.
Even if you show up at the start of the program full of vices, in the program itself you can free yourself of these vices. But when you finish the program you will have to return to the Lion’s Den, and you WILL be tempted to return to your old ways. If you are weak willed, and return to your old ways, it will be worse than if you never did the program in the first place. If you are too weak to resist the temptations that are going to assail you when you return home, you had better steer clear of this program.
If you lack a strong moral fiber, stay away. If you routinely tell lies, you should definitely stay away (unless of course you want to join the program specifically to work on fixing this defect in yourself). If you are deceitful, manipulative, and sociopathic, stay far away (unless, of course you want to do this program in order to completely reform yourself).
If you are not totally dedicated to truthfulness, you don’t belong in this program. If you are loosy-goosy with the truth, you don’t belong in this program. If you have a weak conscience, you should avoid this program because you will only suffer in it.
If you enjoy sensual pleasures, fine. Come to this program and prepare to undergo a powerful purification process. It’s one thing to have a hedonistic past, but it’s another thing to be a bona fide and unrepentant hedonist. A bona fide hedonist has no interest in changing and will die a hedonist.
If you have had an indulgent past, this program could be very good for you IF, and only if, you are seeking to reform yourself and get more disciplined and self-restrained, and work on purifying yourself. But if you are an unrepentant hedonist and lack the will to reform your lifestyle, you had best stay away from this program because you will only suffer.
This program is not for tourists, or those with a passing interest in psychedelics. This program has been designed for men who are very serious about their psychological and spiritual growth, and are prepared to take this program very seriously. And no luke-warm. Either you're all-in, or you're out.
Now, this is not to say that you believe in the theories of David Icke, or even Alex Jones. Some Conspiracy Researchers are pretty far flung and intermingle truth and fantasy. Some are overly paranoid. Some are completely out of their mind. And some are brilliant and truly courageous whistleblowers. This realm of "Conspiracy Theory" requires a lot of discernment.

If you lust after power, it would be dangerous for you to participate in this program. You would suffer a lot, and would receive a monumental smack-down. Do not think that you can drink medicine with me in order to become a powerful magician who can bend the world to your will. Those who drink my medicine need to be prepared to humble themselves.
Those who seek power, who use entheogens, run the risk of becoming possessed by, well I’ll just say it, by demons. If you think that entheogens will give you a competative edge, well you are correct! However, the only correct reason to join this program is because you want to grow, heal, and discover the deeper mysteries of your self and your higher purpose. If you are drawn to entheogens because you want to become somehow superhuman, you are better off finding an unscrupulous sorerer who will help you achieve that (much to the detriment of your soul and your humanity).
If you are motivated by vain desires to be better than others, to raise yourself above the rest, this program will kick your ass and you’ll quit early and walk away licking your wounds, or else walking away slandering the program and doubling down on your proud ego.
You will not find ego-aggrandizement in this program. If you are not humble, you will receive a big smack-down. And that’s a good thing! You probably really need something like that. Bascially we all do! However, this program would be good for you if you are actually wanting to become more humble.
This program would be good for you if you want to cultivate love and wisdow in yourself, as opposed to knowledge and power. If you are wanting to aggrandize yourself in an egotistical, vain, narcissistic kind of way, you will have a very hard time in this program, and would almost certainly quit after the very first ceremony.
And I am not the kind of person to kiss your ass and puff up your sense of self-importance. I will, however, help you find your higher purpose, and help you to actually achieve it. And in that way I would be encouraging a healthy sense of self-importance. But you will never receive any unearned praise, and you certainly will not receive any unearned gifts from the medicine I serve. If you don’t strive to cultivate more humility in the face of these great mysteries, beware! There are plenty of shamans out there who will charge you $1000 for a single ceremony, and will use their charismatic powers to stoke your vanity, puff up your ego, and even bestow upon you some deceptive powers of sorcery. If you’re looking for that, stay far away from this particular program.
If you have these issues I will be able to see them in your application and your interview process, no matter how hard you try to conceal them and pretend to be something you are not.
However, if you struggle with narcissistic tendency; if you struggle with self-absorption, if you worry you might be at least somewhat of a sociopath, then this program could actually really help you… a lot! If you know you have this side of yourself that is selfish, perhaps dark, perhaps even perverse, perhaps perhaps even a little evil, and you sincerely want to work on that to illuminate and heal that part of yourself, this program would be perfect for that.
But if you are lacking that essential thread of conscience, that essential pang of guilt about your own darkness and selfishness, this is definitely not the program for you.
In case you haven’t noticed, “selling your soul to the devil” is actually a real thing. More than being a real thing, it’s actually something of a pandemic these days. And if you swim in more elite waters, all the more danger.
And there are so many different ways to “make a deal with the devil” in our culture – in a culture that is becoming ever more saturated with black magic, both subtle and explicit.
If you feel like you’ve already “sold your soul to the devil” or “made a deal” and you deeply (deeply!) regret it, and you desperately want to break the deal, this program would help you more than anything else out there.
However, if you feel “better to reign in hell than serve in heaven”, you are a black magician just waiting to happen, and if you were to participate in this program you would be absolutely devastated. Best to save yourself the trouble and seek out a psychopathic sorcerer-shaman who would happily train you in the black magic arts in exchange for lots of money and the most precious thing you own.
I created this program with a certain sort of man in mind – or rather, with 3 sorts of men in mind. I will outline my vision of these "3 ideal candidate" profiles.
But first, all 3 types of ideal candidates have some crucial things in common:
Leaders amongst men, deep down. And they know this about about themselves and are looking for the way to tap into that potential.
All three types are already professionally stable and accomplished. They have already been initiated into the “How do I make money in this world?” game. They have already figured out the money part, but are now looking for the source of ultimate meaning and purpose in their lives.
But despite the financial security and stability, all three “types” still feel an existential emptiness and lack of higher meaning in their lives. They are now searching for something more, and have an unshakeable feeling that this “something more” is to be found by exploring the mysteries of entheogens (aka. psychedelics: mushrooms, ayahuasca, san pedro, peyote, etc.), shamanism, healing, and esotericism, and how these relate to the ultimate mystery of your their Higher Self and their higher purpose.
All three types have been drawn to check out the Sol Invictus program because they feel a powerful call to dive into entheogens (psychedelics), and feel that these mysterious substances hold the key to unlocking their higher purpose and the mysteries of their Higher Self.
But all three types of “ideal candidates” for the Sol Invictus program are also highly discerning, and determined to explore the “mysteries of entheogens, shamanism, healing, and esotericism” in a safe, illuminated, and authentic way, guided by the right sort of person (an expert with integrity), in the right context.
They are naturally skeptical, and wary of shamanic charlatanism and New Age quackery. Either they have been hesitant to explore the options close at hand, or…

You are a more seasoned entheogenic seeker is in your 30’s. Perhaps you’re pretty precocious and you’re still in your late 20’s.
You have already had some serious initiatory experiences with entheogens. Likely you have already done mushrooms on your own, and have had at least one life-changing experience with it.
Perhaps have alreay been initiated into Ayahuasca, having done a dieta in the Amazon with an ayahuasquero, or has at least done one or two ayahuasca retreats in the US with a visiting shaman. Or perhaps you have been working with LSD on your own for a while, and may even have a regular practice of microdosing.
For you, SOL INVICTUS represents the precious opportunity to take your initiatory journey to the next level – to go further, deeper, and to really engage in an authentic initiation experience.
You already know the potential of entheogens, and you know that entheogens are an integral part of your life path, and you also realize (either consciously or unconsciously) that you have reached the point of needing a shamanic elder – but you don’t really resonate with indigenous shamans who represent a non-western lineage and don’t even speak english. In general you know what you want, and you boldly go for it. You sense in yourself a great potential, but are still still looking for the way to unleash it, and you know that entheogens are destined to play an integral role in that unleashing.
You have already done an impressive amount of work on your own, without much in the way of shamanic elderhood. You have been courageous, even reckless. But you have now hit a wall and realize you need authentic shamanic guidance to go further. Perhaps you had a frightening experience that opened your eyes to reality of sorcery, dark magic, and dark spirits. You got scared, and realize even more clearly that you need and true elder to safely go further.
You are self-educated. You read a lot. You are interested in esoteric subjects. You are already deeply familiar with the “Hero’s Journey”, and have even been using this model to inspire and guide your early stages of entheogenic exploration. The Hero’s Journey has in many ways taken the place of shamanic elderhood – it has filled the void.
You are already somewhat educated in occult history. You know there are Secret Societies out there. You sense that they are running things behind the scenes. You sense that they are for the most part nefarious. You know it’s a big game and you want to learn much more deeply about this game so you can better navigate it.
You know there is a big conspiracy, but you aren’t sure you trust the so-called Conspiracy Theorists out there. All those theories seem to be onto something, and yet they also seem somehow off. You are willing to entertain the idea of an evil cabal of ruling elites who practice black magic, but the idea of “reptiles” and “aliens” doesn’t quite sit well with you. You want to know the truth, and have the courage to face the truth, but you are careful not to fall into delusional thinking.
You already understand that magic is a real thing. You understand that there are evil men out there who use magic in evil ways. And you aspire to be a good man who knows how to use magic in good ways.
You crave a mentor who can fill in the blanks and teach you the esoteric content and shamanic wisdom that can’t be learned in books nor internet research; that can only be learned when it is imparted by word-of-mouth from mentor to student. You yearn to meet your destined mentor. You know there is a destined mentor out there, and you are seeking for him.
For you, discernment is important. You can spot a plastic shaman, an insta-shaman, a charlatan shaman. You can even intuitively spot a fallen shaman and avoid him. You are looking for a mentor and guide you can consider “the real deal”.
You are the kind of person who can swim with sharks without getting eaten by them. You have a good heart, and are able to remain somehow pure in the midst of an environment of greed, selfishness, narcissism, and materialism. You carefully protect your heart and your inner light, because you feel yourself to be destined for heroism and spiritual warriorship. You know you have to live in the world, but you don't give yourself fully over to it; you seek to operate masterfully in the world while staying somehow removed from it.
You know you have wounds and shadows, and are committed to healing and transforming them. But maybe you just don’t know exactly how. You have already been working on that in entheogenic ceremonies, but the breakthrough and illumination is still eluding you.
You are an interesting mix of battle-hardened and innocent; a mix of pure-hearted and crafty. You strive to the ideal of being “Harmless as a dove but wise as a serpent”.
You keep good company. You have a network of friends who are similar to you; a small tribe of seekers. And this network of friends takes pride in its own heroic potential. Perhaps in the past you would drink alcohol and womanize, but you are already bored of that. Now, you would prefer to smoke cannabis and dream the big dream together. These friends have big hopes and are passionate about playing a vital role in the redemptive storyline of humanity’s future.
You are a romantic at heart. You are perhaps already bored with scoring beautiful woman, and actually want to find a fellow warrior soul who is faithful, who inspires you to be a true warrior and a noble man. For you, it is not enough to be wealthy or even a genius; you want to be a truly noble man, and a true warrior and defender of humanity. Either you already have your soul mate by your side… or… You are still single, because you are saving yourself for your spiritual soul mate – a woman who will bring out your nobility and will inspire you to be a true spiritual warrior.
You want to have a family, but realize the world is a dark and corrupted place, and so you are holding off on children until you feel himself ready for the highest levels of spiritual warriorship. You know that in order to bring children into this world you have to be a warrior well on your path of self-realization.
You sense that you have a big mission, and think that having children too soon might compromise your ability to realize this big mission. You want the freedom to devote yourself entirely to your life’s purpose (at least for now), and realize that having children means being selfless. So you are waiting until your life’s great task is well underway before having children. But when you do eventually have children, you will be a truly inspiring and loving father.
As you come across Sol Invictus, you know immediately that is the perfect thing for you. It is what you have been searching for, and would overcome any obstacle to participate in it.
And as soon as you enrol, you dive into the material, and all your highest hopes are immediately confirmed. You know you have finally found what you need to go to the next level, and you immediately feel an affinity of trust for me (Andrew Camargo), because you sense that I have the knowledge and wisdom, integrity and experience, that you are seeking. You are likely to be in your early 30’s, if not his late 30’s – slightly older than the other two “types” of ideal candidates for this program. You have managed to already generate wealth for yourself. But you are disillusioned. Perhaps even psychologically damaged from your foray into entheogenic shamanism. You now find yourself thinking and speaking things like, “I shouldn’t need drugs to connect with my higher self” and you have been looking for alternatives to entheogenic initiation work.
You are a man of courage. And you are a man who knows what he wants and dives right in. And that is also what got you into trouble in the first place. When you first learned about ayahuasca, you said to yourself, “I need to experience that!” and you went for it. But the shadow side of your boldness and courageousness is recklessness and foolishness. And so you ended up diving into a dirty, serpent-infested pool, and nearly drowned, and nearly got eaten by a primordial serpent, and now you’re traumatized.
Now this trauma has become a block. You are stuck, because on the one hand your experiences have convinced you that the entheogenic path is dangerous and not the right path for you, and yet on the other hand you cannot shake the feeling of being called to an entheogenic path! You know you’re not done with them yet; you know they are not done with you yet! But you’re scared, because your previous experiences were so dark and frightening.
You would benefit a lot from a more gentle approach in the ceremonies themselves. You need to slowly regain your trust in the entheogenic process, and not dive back in again too quickly.
And you need to work with shamans who are oriented toward the light, toward the divine forces of love, and joy, and peace, and wisdom, and goodness, and comfort. Some people are oriented toward a darker, more sorcery-filled shamanic path. You’ve had more than your fill of that, and would be overjoyed to find the light path.
On account of what you’ve been through, you are going to want to speak to me personally over Zoom for longer than the other two “types” of candidates, to make absolutely sure you are ready to trust me as a shamanic guide and mentor.
If you are this type of person, I encourage you to envision Sol Invictus as the antidote to the kind of trauma that you’ve has already endured.

WITHOUT Rites of Passage, a man struggles to find his true place in the world, and so he struggles to direct his great potential in a focused way toward a worthy cause. As a result, a man’s great potential can easily turn into frustration, suffering, depression, addiction, anger, despair. And if a man isn’t conscious of this, it eats away at him unconsciously.
WITHOUT Rites of Passage, a man cannot be a true warrior in his soul. Without undergoing a Rite of Passage a man really struggles to what his highest values are, and what is worth sacrificing for. Without a cause, without a spiritual battle to fight, the great potential a man has cannot be properly channeled. And so the spiritual warrior energy in his soul gets twisted and contorted, and directed in unhealthy ways.
WITHOUT Rites of Passage, a man is likely to wander around in life trying to find meaning, trying to fill an empty void, never being able to shake the feeling that something crucial is missing, that there has got to be more to this life. And this leads to depression, anxiety, numbness, addiction, and all manner of self-destructive behavior.
WITHOUT Rites of Passage, a man inevitably suffers a great existential pain – the pain of feeling and sensing his own immense potential, but not knowing how to tap into it, not knowing how to harness it. He feels a sleeping giant within himself, but doesn’t know how to awaken it, and this is extremely frustrating.
WITHOUT Rites of Passage, a man has tremendous difficulty to discover the deepest spiritual mysteries of his existence, and feels a painful void in his soul. And this painful void will inevitably be filled with inadequate and even harmful and degenerate replacements.
WITH Rites of Passage, a man can die to his fantasies and immaturies, and be reborn to a higher reality, and his place within this higher reality.
WITH Rites of Passage, a man can discover his higher purpose, his reason for being. He can discover his mission in life, and gain the vision, the courage, the inspiration and the capacity to carry it out.
WITH Rites of Passage, a man can discover the mysteries of God within his own Self. He can discover a connection to the mysteries of existence, and can develop a living relationship with something greater than himself. He can connect with the guidance that comes from his own Higher Self, his own divine nature. Rites of Passage have always been guided by the shamans of a culture. In addition to destroying the Rites of Passage in our culture, the Roman Church also exterminated the shamans themselves.
As a result, men seeking a modern day Rite of Passage have had to look elsewhere, outside our civilization, to shamans from very different cultures, with different values, different language, and different ancestral lineage. This is perhaps better than nothing, but is still missing something very crucial.
So the Mission of Sol Invictus is also to retrieve the lost shamanic wisdom and re-plant it back into Western civilization, in a new form, suited specifically for Western men.
In order to do this, Sol Invictus brings you an authentic Western shaman (see Andrew Camargo bio) to provide you with modern western shamanic guidance.
And when the Roman Church destroyed the Rites of Passage (the Schools of Initiation), and the shamans, a great wound was inflicted on the collective soul of the civilization.
The members of our civilization all carry this wound deep in their soul.
For many centuries, Westerners have been denied the Rites of Passage that are so badly needed, and so the wounds and traumas have accumulated.
So today, virtually everybody has inherited trauma and woundedness from innumberable generations.
Sol Invictus also has the mission of healing these wounds and transforming these traumas.
Our civilization itself is wounded and traumatized, and Sol Invictus is committed to addressing the deepest wounds in our civilization itself.
Because wounded people wound other people. Traumatized people often can’t help traumatizing others – even their own loved ones.
But if a man works to heal himself, he can have a healing impact on everybody around him, on everybody in his life. Not only does he break the cycle of trauma and darkness that he has inherited, but he actually transforms it into a new legacy: A legacy of healing, wisdom, illumination, and redemption.
The techniques and methods for healing these deep wounds and traumas is not to be found in modern western medicine, nor even modern western psychotherapy.
To heal these deep wounds, it is necessary to take a shamanic approach.
Sol Invictus has been created to offer men the ideal vessel to dive deeply into their own healing and transform darkness into illumination, pain into comfort and strength, anger into inner peace, and depression into joy, a tragic legacy into a redemtive legacy.
And when the Roman church destroyed the Schools of Initiation, and the shamans, and inflicted a massive wound on the collective soul of the civilization, they also cut men off from the timeless wisdom teachings of the ages – the wisdom that guides a man on how to life the most illuminated and meaningful life. Without this guidance, men are vulnerable to being misled by the dark deceptions and illusions and evil agendas.
Sol Invictus has also the mission of restoring the timeless wisdom teachings, but in a way that is best suited to the conditions of 21st century Western civilization; to deliver an esoteric education to empower a man navigate this world of deceptions, to navigate the world of illusion, full of lies, deceptions, and evil agendas being played out by bands of ultra wealthy psychopaths. With such an education, a man can assume his rightful place as a spiritual warrior and defender of all that is best in humanity.
Sol Invictus means “the unconquered, invincible Sun”. The Sun represents your divine nature. It is a symbol for your Higher Self, and your highest potential.

The Sol Invictus program is unique and superior to other
Entheogens are serious business. When you take them, you are engaging in the most profound sort of inner work, healing work, and transformation of your psyche and your soul. You are dismantling your psyche and reassembling it in a healthier, more illuminated way. It is very high stakes. If it goes well, you can completely transform yourself and your life for the better. But it can also go wrong, and you can end up doing serious damage to yourself.
If the vessel is not adequate, the danger of things going wrong is much higher. If you’re going to embark on entheogenic initiation work, it is essential that you find an adequate vessel that can safely hold your transformational process and guide you to the best possible outcome.
Other programs are designed to be one-off retreats. Generally speaking, you show up, and neither the shaman nor the facilitators know anything about you. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a 1-hour consultation with the shaman before the ceremony. If you complain about this, the shaman will claim that a consultation is not necessary because he/she can just take one look at you and clairvoyantly perceive all your issues. Then in the ceremony they give you a very strong dose of ayahuasca that breaks open your head and brings you to the brink of darkness and psychosis, and your soul is literally in the hands of the shaman. Repeat this two more times, with little (if any) integration work in between, and then after they just send you home with a pat on the back and a “good luck out there!”
Generally speaking, there is no preparation beforehand, nor any integration work or support after the retreat is over. They just throw you into the deep end, without bothering to teach you how to swim. And if you return home and you’re drowning, then what happens?
It’s all too common to come out of such a retreat seriously messed up. And when you contact the shaman or the facilitator and say, “I need help! I am seeing demons everywhere!” or “I need help! I think I’m losing my mind!”, what do they say?
They’ll say: “We can help you if you come back for another retreat!”. And in this way, a vicious cycle of co-dependency forms.
Whereas Sol Invictus is a 1-year program. Instead of throwing you into the deep end, and saying “sink or swim”, the Sol Invictus program guides you more gradually you through a year-long transformational journey that involves 3 entheogenic retreats that build progressively upon each other.
Each retreat requires 2 ½ months of serious preparation and 1 month of integration, with constant individual and peer support at every step of the way. By the end of the 1-year, you will be graduated from the program, and can go on to fulfill your higher purpose and carry the fruits of the program out into the world.
Your soul is very complex, and contains mysterious depths that take a long time to really explore and illuminate. Entheogens are the most powerful tools on earth to engage in this deep soul-work, but you cannot reach the deepest mysteries in one night, nor even in one single retreat. Anybody who claims otherwise is giving you dangerous guidance.
With this work, it is necessary to proceed progressively, so you can gradually make your way deeper into yourself, deeper into your inner mysteries, without harming yourself in the process. Rushing this type of work is actually dangerous.
If you only devote a single retreat to this great work of healing and awakening, you will only be able to scratch the surface. One retreat is required just to truly begin the work. After your first retreat, a whole new world will open before you, and it is necessary to keep going.
However, if you’re impatient, and you want to get as much done as humanly possible in a single retreat (and therefore drink big doses of the medicine, hoping to have your definitive epiphany in a single night), you can end up having an “initiatory miscarriage”. In other words, you can screw yourself up and sabotage this delicate process, leaving your psyche damaged, even traumatized.
Other programs want to give you as much “bang for your buck” as possible, so they have a tendency to completely overwhelm you with excessively big doses of the medicine, wanting to ensure that you have lots of visions and get blasted into the spiritual world right away. Oftentimes, they bombard you with a rapid succession of powerful entheogens in addition to the ayahuasca, such as Bufo Alvarus, DMT, and even mix medicines together at the same time. This certainly ensures that you break open your head and have visions, but it does not ensure that you will be able to put the pieces back together again.
When the model is based on a single retreat, you can expect to have your mind blown open by excessively large doses of the medicine, but this is dangerous because you would not be adequately prepared for this level of psychic dismemberment, nor would you have adequate support to integrate such an shattering experience and re-form your ego in a healthy way.
It is all too likely that afterward you would need to seek out therapy from a psychotherapist or integration specialist when you return home, because the retreat will have blown your head open but will have left you wide open, vulnerable, confused, holding the shattered fragments of your old ego, not knowing what to do next. This model is giving rise to a new category of post-traumatic stress disorder: PARTSD - Post-ayahuasca-retreat-traumatic-stress-disorder.
Wheras Sol Invictus is based on a fundamental understanding of how delicate this process is, and how much care is needed to carry it out successfully. Rather than trying to cram a lifetime of therapy into a single ayahuasca ceremony, or 3 rapid succession ayahuasca ceremonies, the Sol Invictus program creates a vessel where you can boldly pursue your healing and awakening in a more gradual and safe way.
Instead of a single retreat, the program guides you through 3 entheogenic retreats over the course of the year, with each retreat building on the previous, always going deeper, but always paced in a such a way that you can effectively integrate the fruilts of your hard work afterward, and achieve a permanent and stable transformation.
To accomplish the kind of stable and permanent healing, transformation, and awakening you are looking for, a minimum of 3 retreats is necessary. The first retreat will really open up the work. You will experience a definite breakthrough, and yet you will end the first retreat with an understanding that the work has only just begun.
It’s in the second retreat where you will really be able to dive deeply into the healing work, into the shadow work, into the work of illuminating your soul.
And the third retreat will be essential to solidify all the healings and transformations and awakenings you’ve accomplished, so that you will graduate the progam a new man, poised to embark on an entirely new stage of your life.
In this new stage of your life, you will be guided by the inner light (the “Sol seed”) that you’ve awakened in yourself, which leads you to higher purpose. You will have gone through an initiatory dismemberment, yes, but you will also have put the pieces back together again in a higher and more illuminated way.
It’s relatively easy to accomplish the dismemberment and ego-death: Just drink a big glass of ayahuasca and survive the night. What really matters, however, is the work you to to put yourself back together again afterward. It’s in this last and most crucial stage where Sol Invictus excels where other entheogenic retreat programs fail.
Some claim that you can never truly be prepared for an entheogenic initiation experience. This is not true! You can be, and you should be!
In ancient entheogenic Mystery Schools (such as those of ancient Egypt and Greece), candidates for initiation would have to undergo extensive probation and preparatory training before they were permitted to experience the actual entheogenic initiation rite. There is great wisdom in this.
Without proper preparation, the entheogenic initiation can be painful and destructive, even traumatic. The ego and the psyche are not ready for the intense dismemberment and reforging that the entheogenic ritual brings about.
With adequate preparation, however, the ego and the psyche are warmed up, primed, and the stage is set for the entheogenic experience to be as fruitful as possible.
And because the shaman is going to be doing the most intimate psychological and spiritual work with you while you are in a very vulnerable state, a pre-existing relationship with the shaman is essential for the process to be carried out with compassion and wisdom.
Yes, it’s true that an authentic shaman can clairvoyantly perceive things in you that “need work”. And they do not need to know you, nor perhaps even speak to you in order to work on these areas that do indeed “need work”. However, this is no replacement for having a more intimate relationship in advance, where the shaman knows where you are coming from, knows your individual story, has a sense of your hopes and dreams, knows your family background, knows the traumas that you’ve suffered in your life, knows what you need to work on, and has a sense for the more subtle nuances of your psyche.
And furthermore, there is no replacement for having a guide/shaman who has intimate understanding of the Western culture from which you come and to which you will be returning.
In other programs there is little to no preparation. Oftentimes you show up, not knowing what to expect, and because you are not adequately prepared you require a shock treatment (a big dose) to break down your ego and unravel your psyche. This can be a scary and even horrifying experience, and it is not the appropriate way for Western men to undergo entheogenic initiation. If it it happens in this way, you will need extensive integration work just to put the pieces back together again. But such integration work is almost always lacking.
And the shaman guiding the ceremony doesn’t know anything about you, about your history, your individual story, your intimate hopes and dreams.
Most often you will be working with an indigenous shaman who doesn’t even speak english, and certainly doesn’t understand the Western psyche. He/she doesn’t know where you are coming from, and doesn’t know the world in which you have to return.
Most shamans work with an interventionalist method: They see a darkness inside you, and they suck it out, if you don’t puke it out first. Your psyche gets operated on without you even understanding what is happening. It’s like undergoing surgery.
But on account of this interventionist approach, you are not consciously participating in the process, and so you do not gain the treasures of self-knowledge that you would otherwise gain if you were more involved in the process.
Without adequate preparation, not only is the entheogenic ritual itself more difficult, even verging on traumatic, but also…
…lack of adequate preparation also makes the integration work more difficult as well. And to make matters worse, most of these entheogenic retreats offer neither preparation nor integration.
Whereas the Sol Invictus program offers a full 2 ½ months of preparation before each of the 3 entheogenic retreats. This way, when you arrive in Peru for the ceremonial work you will be adequately prepared and primed to get the most out of the ceremonies. With such preparation, the experiences themselves will be more fruitful, and you will also have an easier time to integrate them afterward.
And you will also arrive already with a trusting relationship established with the shaman, in this case me, Andrew Camargo. I will understand your individual story, what you’ve passed through, what you’re dealing with, and what you’re hoping to accomplish in the program. This will enable me to provide guidance during the ceremony that is tailored to your individual psyche.
The shamanic ethos of the Sol Invictus program is not merely for you to “extract” or “purge” darkness and illness lurking within you; no, the ethos is for you to truly come to “Know Thyself”. And to come to “Know Thyself” requires more than shamanic interventionist work. I (Andrew) will work with you through all stages of the process – the preparation, the entheogenic rituals themselves, and the integration work afterward – help you attain the ultimate goal of the process: Illuminated self-knowledge.
Breaking down the ego and throwing your psyche into a blender is the easy part: Just drink a big cup of medicine, and that will happen on its own. It’s in the aftermath where the real work comes in: The integration work.
Without integration work afterward, the entheogenic rituals can more often than not leave you worse off than before. Because in order to get the real gold out of a journey like this, it is essential for your ego and psyche to be reforged, re-solidified. If you do not reforge and re-solidify your ego and your psyche, you will end up with some sort of mental instability, and will be vulnerable to delusions of grandeur, and to intrusions from all manner of dark energies and “entities” that saturate our Western civilization.
Proper, healthy entheogenic initiation essentially works in three stages:
1) Preparation
2) Initiation
3) Integration
First you prepare to do some serious alchemy on your psyche. Then the entheogenic ritual brings about monumental shifts and restructuring of your psyche and your ego. Then afterward, you need to solidify a more evolved ego-structure that incorporates all the healing and realizations and illuminations you received in the ritual. This last part (the integration work) is the most important, because it determines whether you come out of your journey a new man, or whether you come out of it a big mess, worse off than when you started.
Also, it is absolutely essential that you re-integrate not only your individual ego, but that you also re-integrate into the Western society from which you come. Because you will have to return home again, and so there will be a huge piece of re-integration that you will need to do. Failure to do so can lead to severe depression, confusion, not having any idea of how to function anymore in the culture in which you were raised, which you once considered “home”.
A transformative journey such as this requires you to integrate both your individual ego and also to re-integrate into Western society. Failure to do either can result in very serious problems upon your return home. Without proper integration work, it is better that you don’t embark on this process in the first place.
In other programs, there is very little (if any) integration work. During the retreat itself, you will be lucky to do some integration work with some of the english speaking assistants (almost never with the shaman himself).
But even if you are lucky enough to do some integration work during the retreat itself, when the retreat is over, you are on your own!
Other retreat programs do not offer ongoing integration work in the days and weeks and months following the entheogenic retreat itself. This is dangerous!
It is dangerous for at least two reasons. First of all, your ego has been ripped apart, and your psyche has been put in a blender. Now what? Who are you now? What are you supposed to do with your life now? All you know is that you are no longer your old self, but who have you become? All you know is that you don’t want to go back to your old job, but what is your new job going to be? You can come out of such an experience with a serious existential identity crisis.
Furthermore, your ego is what protects you from being swallowed by your own unconscious psyche. When you engage in entheogenic work, your ego gets shredded, and your unconscious psyche gets powerfully activated. If you do not do the hard work of re-forming a new and stronger ego, you can fall into a sort of psychosis, an acute identity crisis, or at the very least become totally unhinged, falling prey to delusions of grandeur. You can come out of an entheogenic retreat thinking that you are an enlightened alien sent to earth on a mission to illuminate the lowly humans, or that you are the second coming of Christ, or some sort of ascended master on a mission to save earth from the reptilian race, and so on.
And that is what can happen if you don’t re-integrate your ego. But there exists another danger: The danger of not re-integrating with Western culture itself.
When you go on an entheogenic retreat, you are definitely leaving Kansas and going to the wonderful world of Oz. You can experience wonders, and mind-blowing mysteries can be revealed to you. And you can certainly hope to have the stereotypical “Matrix epiphany” where you realize that Western civilization is a world of illusions, and deceptions, saturated with dark magic and dark temptations; where you realize that the world is run by machines, or reptiles, or cabals of black magicians, or whatever you want to call them. And then what? How do you return to that? And when you do return, what are you supposed to do with yourself? What is your place in that world?
A typical entheogenic retreat rips you out of the Matrix, but then when the retreat is over you have to go right back in. This can lead to a very serious depression, and even in more extreme cases, to suicidality.
And moreover, when you return to Western civilization you will be wide open, vulnerable, and can pick up a lot of dark energies (what a shaman would call “dark spirits”) that lurk absolutely everywhere in Western civilization.
Thrown back into Western civilization after undergoing an intense entheogenic retreat is like being thrown into shark infested waters while you are bleeding.
So for this reason, and many other reasons, entheogenic retreats that do not include extensive integration afterward are truly dangerous.
Whereas the Sol Invictus program offers extensive integration work at various levels at every stage of the journey.
First, in the day following each of your entheogenic ceremonies you will be doing a full day of integration work. And this integration work will be done with the same shaman/guide who carried out the ceremony the previous day.
Second, after you leave Peru and return home, you will be engaged in a full month of dedicated integration work online, also with Andrew Camargo and your cohort of fellow soul brothers.
It is essential for you to reforge your ego in a way that can effectively incorporate everything you learned, healed, and accomplished at the retreat. This is also important to protect yourself from being far too open to the dark and unhealthy spiritual energies you encounter when you return home.
And third, you will also be guided through a process of re-integrating yourself into Western civilization. This program has been designed by somebody who grew up in Western civilization, who has studied deeply the spiritual and occult history of Western civilization, and understands very well the world you are coming from and the world to which you must return.
The ethos of Sol Invictus is to train men to become self-realized spiritual warriors within their own civilization; true men in the loftiest sense. It does not serve you at all to have your head blown open in Peru and then thrown back into Matrix of Western civilization unprepared. The idea of Sol Invictus is for you to bring something back with you; something you can share with your family, your friends, your tribe, your civilization itself. The idea is for you to return to Western civilization as a courageous visionary and leader amongst men.
In order to be able to bring something back to share, it is essential that you do the right sort of integration work. The entire program of Sol Invictus is designed with this goal in mind: To prepare you to bring the boon back to your tribe. After all, what is the point of undergoing a spiritual healing, awakening, transformation, if you cannot use it to benefit others back home?
When you undergo such a journey of initiation, you will inevitably have to deal with feelings of alienation and even loneliness upon returning home.
I’ll tell it to you straight: A major reason you are existentially unhappy and are seriously interested in the Sol Invictus program is that deep down you find Western civilization shallow, empty, even corrupted, and you yearn to escape it and rise above it, and discover the higher purpose for your life. When you embark on this program, you will be lifted up and out of this Matrix, and you will see Western civilization with clear eyes and a clear heart. And then you will return, and you will no longer feel like you quite belong; at least not like you used to belong.
Such is the fate of any man who frees himself from the world of illusion in which he lives. Those who break away from the masses and courageously carve out the path of their individual destiny have always had to face alienation and some degree of loneliness.
But if you happened to be friends with courageous spiritual seekers before you embarked on the Sol Invictus program, lucky for you! If you have a tribe of brothers who are all passionate about the kind of things we do at Sol Invictus, you are blessed! You will return home and find that you have even more in common with them. You will feel those friendships strengthened and deepened, invigorated with a new burst of inspiration and enthusiasm.
However, if your group of friends are just not into this sort of thing, and are content to spend their nights drowning their soul’s quiet despair in alcohol, drugs, and meaningless sex, and you alone have embarked on this courageous journey to the temple of your Higher Self…
…then in all honesty you can expect to return home and find that you have changed profoundly, while everybody else has stayed the same. You will in all likelihood find that you no longer wish to spend time with the same friends as before, doing the same things you used to “enjoy” doing. And if you do spend time with them, and try in all earnestness to share what you’re going through and what you’ve gained from the program, there is a risk that you will not only be misunderstood, but perhaps even mocked.
So if you have friends on a similar soul journey, you are very fortunate. They were your friends before, and they will remain your friends (perhaps even more so) when you return.
But if you are the only one in your social group who is on this sort of soul journey, you will find that, upon returning home, you will feel disconnected from those you considered your friends.
You know who else understands this alienating “return home” experience? War veterans.
When veterans return home from war, they find that they can no longer relate to the men who haven’t gone to the war, even if they were best friends since childhood. Veterans inevitably find that they can only feel confortable and at home in the company of other veterans – others who have gone through what they have gone through, who have fought the same battles and suffered the same traumas.
So when you return home from Peru, you will crave connection with the same brothers and fellow adventurers who are accompanying you in the Sol Invictus program. You will have formed a most profound bonds of brotherhood with these men, and you will feel safe to continue being open with them. You will find that they above others can empathize with what you are going through, because they will be going through the same thing!
In other programs you certainly go through a harrowing adventure with those people in the same program, but very rarely do you continue the friendship after it's over.
And so when the retreat is over, you get thrown back into the Matrix, having just had your psyche ripped open. You do not have any support from the shaman, and rarely do you get any post-retreat support from the assistants / facilitators. Your best hope is to seek out integration therapy from a progressive psychotherapist.
And so you find yourself back in the belly of the beast, feeling quite alone. In some cases, unbearably alone. You have undergone a profound shift in your consciousness, and can never look at Western civilization in the same way again. You feel suddenly out of place, like you don’t belong. You suddenly feel disconnected from your friend group, and no longer enjoy doing the same things you used to enjoy. You are different, and more sensitive than ever. You are now all the more aware of the darkness and corruption everywhere around you, saturating your society. And whereas before you had a thick skin about it, now you find yourself more sensitive, more open.
You feel alone. You feel unsupported. You feel depressed, even hopeless. You begin to regret ever going on that retreat. You feel like you’ve left your old home, and can never go back. And yet you do not have a new home. You are existentially homeless, existentially alone in a meaningless and corrupt society. What do you do now?
Whereas in the Sol Invictus program you will form the most profound bond of friendship and brotherhood with the excellent men who are in the program with you. And you will be meeting with them in Men’s Circles on a weekly basis, throughout every stage of the program. And you can expect to remain friends and soul brothers well after graduating the program.
During the preparation periods, you will be having weekly Men’s Circles. During the entheogenic retreats, you will be going through a life-changing adventure together. During the integration periods, you will be doing that work together. At every step of the way, you will give each other strength, solidarity, compassion, and accountability.
And when you return to the Matrix, you will always have them to keep you company. You will give one another strength and solidarity. You will be a tribe of brothers united by your courageous journey. And you will watch each other’s backs, and keep each other in check. And when one of you starts to slip, the others will catch him. Peer accountability will be essential, especially in the aftermath of the Peru retreats.
As long as you have this sacred circle of brothers, you will never feel alone. As long as you are supporting each other, you will never allow the discouragement and depression take hold. Together you will overcome. And just as war veterans remains the closest of friends for life, the friendships you form in the program will endure long past your graduation.
At home, you can have a psychotherapist who lets you talk for hours, but doesn’t ultimately solve your problems. On an entheogenic retreat, you can have a shaman who can suck a dark spirit out of you but isn’t interested in giving you psychotherapy.

As I am fond of saying, shamanism is a universal impulse, and every culture gives rise to its own unique form of it. And shamans are meant to emerge out of the very same culture they are meant to serve.
This is a problem for Westerners, because the shamanic impulse was crushed out of our culture 1700 years ago by the Roman Church. So today, if we want to find an authentic shaman we usually have to go looking outside our own culture.
And yet what we really need is an authentic shaman from our own culture. And if we find such a shaman, we tend to need a lot of individual attention, because there’s a lot of damage we’ve endured, and there’s a lot of crap to heal.
In other programs the shaman is invariably not from Western culture. And if he is from Western culture, he is more often than not a charlatan posing at being a shaman.
Shamans from indigenous cultures can be very powerful, but they do not understand from their own experience that it is like to grow up in Western civilization. And they do not know the pressures of being a man in this society. They may be able to clairvoyantly see the illnesses that Westerners carry in their soul, but that does not mean they can help us re-integrate into Western society after they have done their healing work on us.
And the way these retreats are carried out, even if the shaman could speak english, he would never have the time to carry out a long term relationship with you. A few weeks after your retreat, he’s going to have to receive a whole new batch of screwed up Westerns, and will have to turn his attention to helping them.
Whereas in the Sol Invictus program you will be working with a Western shaman who combines modern psychotherapy and ancient shamanic techniques; who comes from Western civilization and understand what you need in order to re-integrate into that world again, and yet is also capable and qualified to take you through the entheogenic rites of passage.

You have heard of “The Hero’s Journey”?
It is the basis of virtually all Hollywood blockbusters. It’s also the basis for most video game narratives.
And you can use this archetypal narrative to give symbolic meaning even to your everyday life. You can for example imagine that your struggle to start your business was a sort of Hero’s Journey.
But the Hero’s Journey actually comes from the Shaman’s Journey.
The Hero’s Journey is actually the journey of initiation.
But since initiation rites have been eviscerated from Western civilization, rarely do men go on an actual Hero’s Journey.
If we don’t live the Hero's Journey directly, we are compelled to live vicariously through others, through avatars (in movies, video games), or in our own fantasy life.
The BOON can be anything that is most needed. If a village is experiencing a drought the boon would be a source of water. If the society can’t defend itself from a dragon the boon might be a magical sword that can slay the dragon. If somebody has been wrongfully imprisoned for a crime they didn’t commit the boon might be evidence finally proving their innocence.
The BOON is essentially what is missing from the tribe, the culture, the situation at hand.
And the Hero is the one who retrieves the boon and restores it.
What must be retrieved and restored?
Well, what is the essential thing that is missing from Western civilization, and from the life of the Western man?
The essential thing that is missing has been taken from us, and concealed from us.
The essential thing is SPIRIT itself; GNOSIS -- and the means by which a man can come to know his spirit directly: INITIATION RITES.
So there is an archetypal boon for for the archetypal Western Hero’s Journey. This is the boon that all would-be Western hero’s must retrieve and restore in their life.
And in the Sol Invictus program you will embark on a journey to retrieve and restore this boon.
You will retrieve (and heal) your SPIRIT and your SOUL.
You will retrieve (and heal) the archetype of the SPIRITUAL WARRIOR within yourself.
You will retrieve (and heal) the energy of the DIVINE MASCULINE within yourself.

In Western civilization, the shamanic impulse has come to expression in the occult and in Secret Societies. This is because 1700 years ago the Roman church started persecuting the shamanic impulse (and never stopped), forcing it underground. As a result, initiation rites and "Western shamanic knowledge" has been cultivated in secret. And unfortunately this has given rise to the monstrosity we are facing today: Secret Societies that use black magic in order to attain ungodly power.
So given that our own Western shamanic impulse has become so thoroughly corrupted and evil, Western spiritual seekers end up searching for shamanic wisdom and initiatory guidance outside of Western civilization.
And nothing has quite managed to capture the Western seeker's attention and fascination as the shamanism that has evolved in the Amazon, specifically around the use of Ayahuasca.
Ayahuasca seems to be the initiatory entheogen that most 21st century seekers are seeking.
But the problem is that Amazonian shamans - the ones who use Ayahuasca - come from completely different cultures, with different values, a different language, and a different spiritual history.
Remember that the Hero’s Journey is essentially the Shamanic Initiation Journey.
And the 3 stages of the Hero’s Journey (Departure, Initiation, Return) correspond to the 3 stages of the Shamanic Initiation Journey.
And the 3rd stage of the journey – the Return – means that the Hero/Shaman has to return to his own culture to be of service there.
So how can a shaman from the Amazon guide you through all three stages of the journey? Specifically, how can he guide you through the “return” stage?
Every culture is meant to have its own shamans.
That is because the shaman’s main function is to serve the culture in which he is living. And his entire initiation process should be geared toward transforming him into a specialist of his own culture.
It does not make sense for Western men to undergo initiation in indigenous Amazonian cultures. These initiations are the result of thousands of years of evolution within those same cultures.
And such initiations would not prepare a man to return to his own culture. Quite the opposite, such an initiation would make it much harder to function in his own culture, much less be of service.
Shamanism must grow out of the same culture it is meant to serve. And so Westerners require an initiation from a Western shaman who is working in a Western lineage of shamanic wisdom.
A Western shaman working in a Western lineage understands the world you are coming from, and the world to which you need to return.
A Western shaman understands the history of Western civilization, and knows intimately the shadows, illnesses, and darknesses that are unique to the Western soul.
And a Western shaman is capable of training you to return to Western civilization and re-integrate yourself there.
I emphatically disagree!

A Complete Hero's Journey
The Hero’s Journey takes place in 3 acts. And entheogenic initiation needs to take place in 3 stages.
There are 3 semesters in the program. And there are 3 entheogenic initiation retreats. And each retreat includes 3 ayahuasca ceremonies. This gives you the opportunity to complete a full cycle of personal growth and accomplish a complete transformation of your psychological capacity.
Other programs only give you the first act, and leave you hanging on act 2 and act 3.
Thorough Preparation Before, and Extensive Integration After
Each of the 3 entheogenic retreats includes 2.5 months of preparation, and 1 month of integration afterward. This creates the conditions necessary for you to first of all get the most out of the experiences, and second of all for you to permanently integrate the fruits of your entheogenic experiences into your psychological being.
Other programs do not include any preparation, nor any integration afterward. And this is dangerous.

I will personally be working with you on a weekly basis at all stages of the preparation periods and all stages of the integration periods. The Team
The Sacred Valley is a global hub for healers, therapists, and shamans. There is an immense amount of spiritual talent here, and I assemble my team from the best of the best.
The Primary Team - the ceremonialists.
The entheogenic ceremonies themselves will consist of shamanic healing and music, so my primary team will consist of shamanic healers and highly skilled musicians - with whom I have been working for years, and with whom I have cultivated expert working relationships.
The Secondary Team - the specialist healers and therapists.
I am well connected to a network of healers and therapists in the Sacred Valley, each of whom has a particular specialization. Once we establish the 8 men who will join the program I will assess the needs of each individual and assemble my secondary team.
In the retreats, good nutrition is important, so I will be working with a culinary genius who will prepare for you 3 nutritious and delicious meals a day.
In the days between ceremonies, you will have opportunity to work with specialists, depending on what you want and what the ceremonies open for you. Understanding that most of our students run businesses, and cannot afford to be away from their work responsibilities for 12 days straight, the entheogenic retreats have been specifically designed so that you can work minimal part-time, allowing you to check in with your work, put out any fires that need putting out, and be in regular communication with your managers and those responsible for running the ship while you are away.
You will need to make arrangements to be relatively “on vacation”, and be able to dedicate serious focus to your initiatory process. However, you will not need to take a complete vacation (unless you really want to and have that luxury).
And you will also have a weekly one-on-one Zoom meeting with me, Andrew Camargo, to be scheduled at your convenience.
There will also be some homework every week, approximately an 2 hour's worth.
But you will not be required to go offline for the entire time. If you have that luxury, lucky for you! But we understand that you may not necessarily have that luxury, so we will create pockets of "free time" so that (when necessary) you can get back online and check in with your business, with your family, etc.
I will be very upfront about this. You will need to make a serious emotional and psychological commitment in order to get the most out of this program.
You are committing to profound transformation. You are committing to a new level of psychological and spiritual consciousness. This requires you to be ready to let go of certain things that you perhaps feel an attachment to: Bad habits, addictions, self-defeating behaviours, self-defeating belief structures, and many forms of childish immaturities that are holding you back from your true potential as a man.

If your friends are not at all interested in psychological and spiritual awakening then you need to be prepared to outgrow them. Because you will be going somewhere they do not wish to follow. However, if your friends are already interested in spiritual and psychological development, your friendships will only be strengthened by your participation in the program.
Ultimately, you need to be prepared to die and be reborn. That is the essence of initiation: Death and rebirth. And that is what you will experience in this program.
The majority of the program takes places in your own home, via Zoom.
However, the crux of the program are the 3 entheogenic retreats in the Sacred Valley of Peru.
The Sacred Valley of Peru
The entheogenic retreats are hosted in the Sacred Valley, just north of Cusco.
It is called the Sacred Valley for a good reason. Anybody who comes here can immediately feel the power and mystery and inherent sacredness of this place.
On the West end of the Valley, you have Macchu Picchu. At the eastern opening of the Valley, you have the magical town of Pisac. The retreats will take place in a town close to Pisac.
All along the valley you will find mysterious archeological sites. The official story is that these were built by the Incas, but if you take a close look at the stonework you will very quickly realize that these temples are far older than the official story tells you, and were built with a technology of stonework that we cannot even today replicate.
This is a very mysterious area, renown as one of the most important "power places" on earth. And you will immediately feel this power as soon as you set foot here.

I want this program to spread by word of mouth, so I've created a very generous referral program.
If you refer somebody to this site, or tell them about the Sol Invictus program, and they end up applying to the program, and they end up getting accepted, and they end up paying their tuition, you will get 15% of the tuition (that does not end up getting refunded).
That's all you have to do! You just have to tell them about the program! And if they apply and get accepted, you receive at 15% commission:
If they pay for just the first semester ($6,000) you will receive a one-time commission of $900.
(you will not receive $900 for the other two semesters).
